SPIRIT OF JOHN MORGAN: same (1969 UK Carnaby - CNLS.6002 stereo - stamped matrix)
Original UK copy of this increasingly rare progressive lp from 1969. Guitar/organ dominated with long tracks and excellent vocals. No nonsense bluesbased riffing coupled with more complex and inventive progressive workouts.
Sold absolutely zilch upon release and is thus almost impossible to find.
Record in excellent condition, traces of handling and some fine hairlines, but this does not affect play. Some slight background noise in places. No marks, skips or jumps...
Laminated non gatefold cover shows more signs of handling, the lamination is a bit crackly in places, small sticker on backside; I'd grade the sleeve as VG++
Overall a very satisfactory copy of this rare and desirable record; in my opinion one of the finest and most underrated progressive albums of the period.
