THE SPIRIT OF VERSAILLES / CALIGARI - split 7" TEST PRESSING on Init Records.
After 13 years of doing Init Records, I've racked up quite a large amount of credit card debt, with distributors disappearing and owing us money, as well as being burned by several "friends" bands who we have worked with as well. With a bunch of great releases (and represses) on the horizon for 2014, I'm auctioning off some personal copies, rarities, and test pressings from the label's past to help tackle some of the debt and push the label forward another year. Up for grabs here is a test pressing for the first ever vinyl release on Init Records, a split between SPIRIT OF VERSAILLES and CALIGARI. There were only 5 of these made, packaged in a hand-made DIY cover, and this is the ONLY/LAST copy I have to sell! Each band does one song. SPIRIT OF VERSAILLES are legendary in the DIY screamo scene; CALIGARI members went on to THE BLINDING LIGHT and HAMMERLORD.
Black vinyl. Generic United Record Pressing labels. Hand-stamped DIY cover.
This copy is unplayed, in excellent new condition, and comes directly from Init Records, with 100% of the proceeds going directly back to the label that released this record!
