SPIROGYRA Old Boot Wine (Peg 13) Fairport Convention RARE Original UK 1st Pressing MINT

Here`s a RARE, very early UK pressing of "Old Boot Wine" by Spirogyra, released on Peg Records (1972).

Very much one-of-a-kind, Spirogyra straddle the divide between psychedelic folk-rock and early 70s prog with an ease reminiscent of Keith Relf-era Renaissance. Dave Mattacks of Fairport Convention more than ably mans the drum stool.

GRADING:

MINT(-) COVER. Original textured sleeve, perfect except for a small nick on the top edge. Great cover art by Pete Rhodes. Please see photos for details.

MINT- RECORD that looks practically unplayed. A very early UK pressing with "A-1 U" and "B-2 U" matrix stampers in the run-off grooves.
