Original textured LABELS with Eye symbol -
this is a true UK 1st pressing.
Fully laminated SLEEVE made by EJ Day of London
is very very nr EX condition with a couple of
laminate creases & generally
very nr EX to EX condition.
Textured Island LABELS are stunning
& EX to EX+ condition.
VINYL has a few superficial light scuffs
& very very nr EX condition visually.
Very psychedelic progressive album has a fantastic
production performs superbly with extremely
minimal surface noise, very full bodied analogue
audio reproduction that jumps out the speakers.
There is some very slight surface noise
noticeable right at the beginning of the 1st track,
intro which is very low level.
Generally the audio is excellent.
For accurate play grading (like all my records)
This record has been played on a Linn LP12 Sondek turntable
fitted with a Goldring stylus,
Listened to through full range SD Acoustics speakers
that have superb response and definition on all frequencies,
with a Quad Amp set-up.
For accurate visual grade (like all my records)
This record has been professionally cleaned using an
Okki Nokki cleaning machine.
First clean with purified water and isopropanol alcohol and
finished off with L'art du son / purified water mix.
The alcohol mix removes the release agent all records have
from the manufacturing stage, this hides detail in the sound.
The l’art du son mix seems to smooth out any brittleness
in the alcohol water mix.
