SUPERB ALBUM that originally started life as a Mike Harrison solo album before Island head honcho head the tapes and convinced him that it should go out under the Spooky Tooth handle - hence the 'Featuring Mike Harrison' sub title on the cover. Musically its a killer album kicking off with two extraodinary tracks: an amazing version of the Beatles 'I Am The Walrus' which raelly has to be heard to be beleived and 'The Wrong Time' anothre heavy prog rock work out. Possibly the reason that this album works so well is that Gary Wright's annoying falsetto is not present giving the sound a nore rural and gritty vibe much more in tune with Joe Cocker of Traffic.

A couple of other good covers to ponder are 'Down River', by David Ackles and 'Son Of Your Father' by Elton John and bernie Taupin making this album a delightful excursion in the Spooky Tooth cannon.

This auction is part of a fantastic collection of seventies rock which I was lucky enough to acquire. Most of these records were stored with the utmost care and sparsely played. Some were possibly never played or may have been for just a handful of times.

Pressing: Island, UK, 1970 - Pink rim

Vinyl: Superb clean and shiny condition. Possibly one or two spindle marks and virtually no other signs of use. Grades as a very nice MINT-!

Cover: Again, only minimal signs of use. Sharp corners, no dings, a couple of light but invisible bends, no ring wear, no split seams and no creases. Spine is straight and stiff if a little flattened (text is fully readible) with original pinches top and bottom. Beautiful and impossible to find like this 46 years after release. Grades as Ex+
