Description

This is an Auction for the second Lp by Spooky Tooth entitled "Spooky Tooth" released in the Uk in 1969 on Island records Catalogue number ILPS 9098. This copy is an early pressing released on the Pink "I" label with the Matrix numbers 9098-A and 9098 pressed with textured labels on heavy vinyl.

The Vinyl is visually in Excellent condition with barely any noticeable marks at all. It looks really great. The Lp sits nice and flat on the turntable and plays through without any skips, jumps or even any noticable pops or ticks. The audio is clear and vibrant with good sound seperation and a pleasure to listen too. There is some light background noise especially in between tracks and during quiet moments but this does not detract from the enjoyment. Overall i would grade the Audio as Very Good++ at least. The textures labels are in excellent condition with the exception of a small mark on side 1[see photo]

The E.J.Day gatefold sleeve is in Very Good+ condition with some light storage wear to the corners and edges. It looks great when it is opened.

Overall a very nice copy of this classic LP.

Grading:- MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT:
The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD:
The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD:
The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc
