2010 release from the Texas-based alt-rock quartet, their seventh album overall and their first since Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga. In recording Transference, Spoon decided to completely self-produce their record for the first time. The result was a more expansive and creatively spontaneous record that harkens back to the humble beginnings of the band's history while continuing to push their sound into more experimental spheres. Featuring the singles 'Who Makes Your Money,' 'Written in Reverse,' fan favorite 'Got Nuffin,' and a version of 'The Mystery Zone' that's a full minute longer than the one on the CD, Transference is a fully unfiltered look at one of the most creative acts in modern music.
