Magnificent copy of the Spriguns (Mandy Morton) LP "Time Will Pass", 1977 on The Decca Record Company, SKL 5286. I bought this brand new from J&R Music in New York City when they sold obscure imports in the bottom floor of their one location at that time in Park Row. As it is an import album, it did not come sealed, so I have stored every since in a plastic sleeve, climate controlled environment. To be perfectly honest, I have never even played it! I bought the import CD of the same, as well as their other CD's (I don't own any other of their albums unfortunately).
Needless to say, this album is as mint as you can get! The jacket is flawless, no wear, no creases, no fading, no rub marks, absolutely as new. Inside you get the original Decca protective sleeve (with printing on one side about record care, center has see through section, entire inside has plastic for protection. Also included in a two sided insert sheet, one side with a black and white full sized picture of the group, the other with all of the song titles and lyrics.
The record is stunning as well. No marks whatsoever, just shiny black plastic! It doesn't get any better than this. This is as new! I can offer to professionally clean this record before sending to you on my VPI HW-17 record cleaning machine, which I highly recommend. For any serious record collector like myself, it is an essential part of any audiophile system. I have taken albums that are 20-30 years old, given them a cleaning on this wonderful machine, and they sound fantastic. Whenever I sell any collectible album (recently sold a very rare $250 copy of the Fuzzy Duck album), I always clean it on the VPI.
Bottom line is that you will never find a copy of "Time Will Pass" in better condition that this! It's a rare opportunity to own a very rare and collectible album by a very interesting folk ensemble.
