SPRING ' EPONYMOUS SELF TITLED DEBUT ' VINYL LP FROM 1971. THIS HAS GOT TO BE THE RAREST VINYL LPs I HAVE EVER LISTED ON EBAY! THE UK ISSUE OF THIS ALBUM IS VALUED AT £800 IN THE 2016 EDITION OF THE RARE RECORD PRICE GUIDE! I AM ASSUMING EVEN LESS OF THEM WERE PRODUCED IN NEW ZEALAND?
' SPRING ' IS OFTEN SITED AS ONE OF THE RAREST AND GREAT PSYCHEDELIC WORKS OF THE EARLY 1970s.
THIS IS A DECENT COPY. IT COMES WITH A FULLY LAMINATED GATEFOLD SLEEVE AND WITH LYRICS PRINTED INSIDE AND ' DISTRIBUTED BY RCA AUCKLAND ' PRINTED AT THE BOTTOM OF THE INSIDE OF THE LEFT HAND SIDE OF THE COVER.
THE DISC HAS THE ORANGE RCA LABEL BUT STILL RETAINS ITS CATALOGUE NUMBER OF NE 6, WHICH WAS THE ONE USED IN THE UK ON THE RCA NEON LABEL. A SECOND CATALOGUE NUMBER OF AGBS-0521 IS ALSO PRESENT ON THE LABELS.
THE TEXT AROUND THE CIRCUMFERENCE OF THE LABELS IS AS FOLLOWS:- ' MANUFACTURED BY PYE RECORD MANUFACTURING DIVISION, AUCKLAND, NEW ZEALAND MADE FROM MASTER '.
THE MATRICES ON THE RECORD ARE AGBS-0521 A-1 AND AGBS-0521 B-1.
THIS WILL MAKE A GREAT CHRISTMAS PRESENT FOR SOMEONE I DOUBT WHETHER ANOTHER WILL COME ALONG ANY TIME SOON!

THIS COPY IS IN VG/VG+ CONDITION. The cover is in VG condition with no major rips or tears. There is some general ageing and edge wear. There is also some minor ring wear to the front and back of the sleeve. The vinyl is in VG+ condition and plays providing generally excellent sound reproduction. There are some marks but most of these are superficial. A more major mark is present on the first track of side 2, but this only gives rise to a few seconds of background noise. The record does not skip or jump. The inner sleeve is a plain plastic liner in EX condition.
I post worldwide and charges are as follows £4.00 for the first disc to the UK. £7.00 for the first disc standard small packet airmail to Europe and £10 for the first disc standard small packet airmail to the rest of the world. Additional discs are £1 extra. Double LPs count as two discs.
Please note that I refund payments for any records returned to me but I do not pay the return postage and payment is required within three days of the end of the auction.
