Mercury Living Presence
This VG+/NM- record retains as much gloss as you get on a Mercury Pressing; it has one bubble and resulting scratch that sounds for several revolutions on side 1. Otherwise it is NM/NM-. Note that this is play-graded as described below as a 3+ (because of blemish mentioned).
Jacket is in Very good (+) condition signs of wear near in corners and near openning.
I'm a collector, not a vendor, who is moving and downsizing a little; I'm listing about 30-50 collectible records, please see my other auctions. As such, my gradings are very conservative readings of the Goldmine standards. I can provide short digital excerpts of the actual record (randomly selected on the record) if interested.
Where possible I have included play gradings as follows:
5+: Perfect... I own about 3 of these in a 1000+ record collection
5: Nearly perfect- no surface noise, no more than one very light "pop" per side
5-: Possible surface noise only noticeable between tracks or quiet movements; only 1-2 light "pops" per side
4+: Lightly noticeable surface noise occurs occasionally, does not detract from enjoyment
4: Periods of surface noise that do impact enjoyment when they occur
4-: Enough surface noise that you notice throughout
3+: a few recurring pops and ticks
3: regular pops and ticks that impact enjoyment
3-: still tracks throughout, but you better love the piece and performance!
2: Tracking problems unless you overload the tracking force... probably not worth keeping
1: Does not play (cracked, major scratch)
