Description
SR90313 Mercury Living Presence US RFR1/RFR1 pressing.
Ravel: "Rapsodie Espagnole", "Alborada del Gracioso", "Pavane pour une Infante Defunte", "La Valse", and Ibert: "Escales". Paul Paray conducting the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. This has a green promotional label. The vinyl has a few light marks and scuffs and has an odd mottled? look to it. I don't know US pressings very well and they are made of a different kind of vinyl to European lps but I have noticed visual oddities on them before. The lp plays very well and the stories of remarkable sound from early US Mercurys are proved on the lp. The sleave is in good order apart from a 8cm split on the top. Their is a little discolouration, wear ar the corners and light ring wear on the back but I would say it's at least very good. See the photos below. This is a rare early Mercury with a green promo label and it sounds great! This is a good opportunity to own it at a bargain price.
Free postage in the UK but £7.50 to the EU and £9.50 to the rest of the world with the Royal Mail International Signed For service which can be tracked and includes some insurance . Insurance would be an extra cost for UK, EU and rest of the world depending on the value of the lp.
