This is an original rare 1968 Canadian Capitol stereo pressing of "SRC", the debut album by the Scott Richard Case. Fantastic Motor City RAWK by a great group featuring rocking twin guitars and psyched-out Hammond organ. The song "Black Sheep" is a minor psych classic. Essential American garage-psych. 

Dead wax has ST1-2991-W3  etched on Side 1 and ST2-2991-W2 etched on Side 2. Same pressing plant that pressed all of the wonderful mid-late 60's Canadian Capitol 6000 pressings. 

Vinyl visual Grading:  VG+ with a few light marks. Labels show VERY LITTLE play but lp could use a good cleaning. Would elevate it to VG+/NM for sure.   

Vinyl play Grading:  VG+/NM with excellent fidelity and very little noise between tracks. The sonics on these Capitol pressings are legendary and this pressing is MEGA LOUD. EXCELLENT PLAY COPY!!

Cover visual Grading:  VG/VG+ on this single-sleeve paste-over cover. Spine and seams show minor wear. Very minor ring wear on front and rear BUT no discolouration. This 42-year old cover is in very nice condition.     

Comes with plastic-lined white paper inner sleeve. Original inner is long gone.

NM:  Virtually unmarked / considered either RARELY PLAYED, AS NEW OPENED, or record could still be SEALED.

VG+:  NO scratches/scuffs. At most a few light surface blemishes which have VERY LITTLE or NO effect on fidelity. 

VG:  Used but CERTAINLY NOT abused, perhaps extremely light surface scratching/scuffing causing noise which DOES NOT significantly compromise the fidelity of the music

G:   There will be visible marking and noise evident but the record will still be listenable and enjoyable, depending on your ears.

I do not use the Mint grading since there really is no such thing as perfection. Also, I will NOT sell noisy vinyl (Fair/Poor gradings) UNLESS I feel that there is significant historical and/or collector interest in the item. 

ALL records will have been visually graded under BRIGHT light and play graded on a Thorens TD165 table with little used Shure cartridge (at about 1.5 grams) and JBL reference headphones with the Treble set HIGH. This play-grading system masks very little so rest assured that my descriptions will be ACCURATE.

All of my listings will have the particulars detailed (ie. any blemishes, detail concerning condition of vinyl, cover, etc.). All records will be shipped in new or top-condition recycled record mailers with well padded corners and extra stiffeners. Original inners will be included if available, and all vinyl/covers will be held within a poly outer (vinyl will be outside of cover).

Shipping for cds will be $3 within Canada/U.S. and $5 to U.K./Japan. I will, of course, offer shipping/handling cost breaks on multiple items BUT since I am shipping from Canada (where we live with NOTORIOUSLY high postal rates), you may not receive the price break that you are hoping for.   AGAIN, being a reasonable person, I will be absorbing some of the costs of postage and ALL of the costs of shipping materials.
