Description
This is an overall fine original U.S. pressing copy of the third and final LP (not counting archival releases) by Detroit-area group SRC, released in 1970. Formed by members of two local garage bands, the Fugitives and the Chosen Few, and taking their name from the initials of their lead singer Scott Richardson (they were originally know as the Scot Richard Case), the group debuted with a 1967 single on the local A-Square label before signing with Capitol. The group's last record follows their second LP in pursuing a more progressive sound, and it sees them stretching out (to 6-7 minutes) on a few tracks. The gatefold jacket has ring wear and scuffing, corner wear, and light spine and seam wear (VG++). The disc has a small bump in the vinyl in the first track on both sides (apparently a pressing flaw) that caused some mostly inaudible dull pops, but no skips, when I tested it. Otherwise the disc is clean with some light scuffing, and plays with some light surface noise -- overall EX-.
I’m in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.
If you'd like to order multiple items, I'll happily combine them so that you won't have to pay multiple shipping charges.
