SSD - "THE KIDS WILL HAVE THEIR SAY" Lp -
ORIGINAL record ORIGINAL pressing from 1982 from the first great Boston Hardcore band Society System Decontrol.
Comes with original 12 inch by 12 inch rigid lyric sheet!!
There were only 1000 of these pressed, making it one of the rarest hardcore Lps ever.
This is NOT the bootleg!! This is the ORIGINAL!!!
The first ever release from Boston based XClaim! Records, in conjunction with Dischord Records. This is Record #1 for XClaim! and record #7 1/2 for Dischord. XClaim! was at one time the leader of Boston hardcore, releasing DYS "Brotherhood" Lp, SSD "Get It Away" Lp and The F.U.'s "Kill For Christ" Lp.
Here's the grading for this record:
SLEEVE: VG (very good) to EX (excellent), there is some slight wear on the corners, but the record is over 20 years old, so considering it's age, it's in great shape.
VINYL: EX (excellent) to NM (near mint) - the record is in phenomenal shape. I got this record in 1989 from a record collector friend who was very good with his records, as am I. I've been so paranoid of damaging the Lp that I've never played it. There is dust on the Lp but, for fear of scratching it, I've never cleaned it. The record is 45 rpm.

INSERT: The lyric sheet is in pristine condition - no bends, folds, rips or thumbtack holes. It is double sided, with lyrics and a photo on one side and lyrics on the other. There's a great note on the bottom of the lyric sheet, where SSD is trying to book shows for a two week summer tour in 1982, and they give the dates of the tour and their phone number!
