Vinyl private pressing of Independent Study by Robert Bogaert from 1979 out of Urbana, Illinois. This is a pretty decent singer songwriter l.p. The label is actually Why? Records. There are 7 tunes in all. There is acoustic guitar, piano, synth, drums etc. One tune is countryish, one is bluesy, several have either piano or acoustic guitar with reverb on the vocals & these are the real standouts. They make the whole l.p. There is synth on a few tunes & some pretty good electric guitar. This guy's vocals remind me of someone I liked but I can't put a finger on whom. The 3 great songs are worth the price of admission. The label is yellow with small black print that looks like it was handwritten. Right now I'm playing the tune "Flightless Birds" & there is some very competent lead guitar going on. I give the cover a VG+ because it's black & the little bit of ringwear happening seems to stick out a bit. The vinyl is EX.

However, I cannot be responsible for uninsured packages. I do pack well and in a professional manner with standard record mailers. I also place a cardboard support inside the mailer for protection and to help prevent any bending. Records are removed from their covers and both are placed in a protective, clear plastic outer sleeve. It's a tried and true method that has never been improved upon. I do offer refunds if the item you won is not as described. I ship every Saturday.
