Condition
These LPs comes from a large collection of vintage 1950s Jazz Vinyl I recently acquired. The records had been well looked after, stored in a HMV LP cabinet and all sleeved. This was an enthusiasts collection and the records were played and enjoyed rather than stored for posterity. So, lots of rare vintage UK issues in decent but not mint condition. I am playing these records and will not list the occasional one where any surface noise totally stops the enjoyment of these great sounds.
This LPs are in good condition. I have play tested the LPs. Both Lps are in decent playing condition without skips or jumps. Very listenable.
LP1 have some scuffs and a few long hairline marks. It plays very well with just a little surface noise.
LP2 has quite extensive light scuffing and numerous small hairline marks on side 2. Surprisingly, however, it plays well with just a little surface noise. There are no skips or jumps.
The sleeves on both these records are in only fair condition. The sleeve to No1 has some loss of lamintate, with the top rear flaps and edges very rough and coming away from rear sleeve. There is a two inche tear at the rear of the sleeve and some discoloration to the top four inches of the rear. It still houses the record and is totally legible.
The sleeve to No2 is better but the centre of the bottom flap has been secured with two pieces of tape. Other than that just a little general wear.
