Description

The record you are viewing is part of a collection acquired through a successful auction bid.  The product purchased is from a deceased record store owner whose doors closed circa 1970, having made a run of it during the 60's.  An incredibly large volume of LPs remained, many in new (sealed) or pristine condition and properly stored.  These will comprise the bulk of offerings I will be posting on eBay.  With a vast and well preserved inventory, it will take time to sift through and uncover the many hidden gems that await.  My goal is to present these finds to eBay buyers in a timely and systematic manner.  I am aware finds of this nature are indeed rare, but the fact is, the records I will be listing have sat undisturbed for over 40 years waiting to be rediscovered, shared and enjoyed.  I hope you will find some items you've been wanting and can be part of, what I feel, is an historical find.   All items kept in smoke-free, pet-free environment.
Verve MONO vinyl gatefold LP V 8600 - released 1965
A beautiful copy of this classic LP.  NM vinyl appears unplayed - no spindle marks and vinyl markings appear inherent from pressing - not handling.  Test played once on high end equipment.  Sound is excellent: clear and present - like being in the audience of this great performance!  I detected 3 - 4 light pops interspersed throughout entire recording.  The rated excellent laminated cover is pristine with a modicum of shelf wear that you have to look closely to see.  The gatefold cover is stiff as if never opened - a tight spine.  No dings or corner stubs - really just an exceptionally nice copy from this amazingly well kept collection of jazz finds.
