Stan Tracey – Jazz Suite (Inspired By Dylan Thomas' Under Milk Wood)with Jeff Clyne, Bobby Wellins and Jack Dougan.
Stanley William Tracey CBE (30 December 1926 - 6 December 2013) was a British jazz pianist and composer, whose most important influences were Duke Ellington and Thelonious Monk. This is his best known recording, a suite inspired by Dylan Thomas's radio drama Under Milk Wood.
Over the next few months I will be selling some great Jazz records with the majority of them in exceptional condition. Most look and play perfectly with glossy unmarked surfaces and crisp clear audio! See the condition of this record below.

The album is on Steam Records, SJ 101. Matrix side one: SJ 101 A-1 (stamped). Matrix side two: SJ 101 B-1 (stamped).
Originally released in 1965 (this is a 1976 reissue). UK pressing. Stereo.

Condition: (as Record Collector’s grading system)
Vinyl side 1: excellent (has a few light superficial marks that do not affect the audio in any way, plays great with no jumps, sticks or clicks and minimal crackle).
Vinyl side 2: excellent (has a few light superficial marks that do not affect the audio in any way, plays great with no jumps, sticks or clicks and minimal crackle).
Cover (front laminated): excellent (has a few laminated creases, small stain bottom left, neat writing on back - see photos, a few very light stains on back).
I have tried to give my honest opinion as to the condition. I will give a complete refund to the buyer if they are not happy with the record.

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM:
MINT: I very rarely use the mint grade. Only records that are still sealed or records that even under the strongest of lights are completely unmarked. Also covers that are unmarked/uncreased in any way and still look brand new.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
