A truly excellent condition copy of this 1965 UK 1st press jazz rarity, sparingly played with gleaming vinyl and great sounding MONO sound

1965 UK 1st press jazz rarity on the Columbia (black & blue) label : excellent (EX) condition, gleaming, jet black sheen vinyl with earliest 1U/2U matrices, just a few very wispy hairlines and small very faint paper scuff marks - each superficial and only visible with close scrutiny under a bright light; excellent plus (EX++) labels with just a couple of small & extremely faint spindle trails next to the centre hole and the "K" & "T" tax codes embossed upon the side 1 label; excellent (EX) condition front side laminated Garrod & Lofthouse flipback outer sleeve with firm unscuffed edges, well defined right angled corners with barely any rubbing, no laminate lifting, no cardboard creasing, just a few 1cm non-obvious laminate creases adjacent and perpendicular to the front edges and a few small & very light storage marks towards the edges on the reverse side; brilliant audio with no clicks, interference, or distortion and absolutely minimal background crackle (negligible) - simply great tone with clear MONO audio quality throughout. Comes complete with original and great condition poly-lined "USE EMITEX" and "MADE IN ENGLAND" inner sleeve : no seam splits, rips, or tears and barely any creasing or age discolouration - another indicator that this record has been sparingly played. A relatively overlooked mid 60's jazz gem and part of the cherished and highly collectable Columbia "Lansdowne Series". Rare, highly collectable, and a great addition to any jazz vinyl collection! Note that I always insert the vinyl into a new plain white poly-lined inner sleeve in order to protect the original during postage, and separate this from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits. I use thick cardboard stiffeners and take great care in my packaging to ensure as far as possible that these precious records reach their destination in exactly the same condition as when they leave me.
