'Stand Up' - Jethro Tull 12" inch vinyl LP (33 rpm)  – Island  - 1969            #cr#

Description

  • 12 inch, stereo, LP. 33 1/3 rpm
  • This is the first issue of the album from 1967 on the 'Island' label. It has the original pink 'Island' label with the orange and black bullseye. The spine does not have 'Stereo' on it.
  • The band for this release was Ian Anderson, Martin Barre, Clive Bunker and Glen Cornick 
  •  Track listing:

  • Side 2:- Nothing Is Easy; Fat Man; We Used To Know; Reasons For Waiting; For A Thousand Mothers
  • Produced by Ian Anderson and Terry Ellis for Chrysalis Records
  • Engineered by Andy Johns
  • Recorded at Morgan Studios, Willesden, North London in April/May 1969
  • The gatefold sleeve design is based on a woodcut by James Grashow and features a pop-up cut-out of the band when the album is opened.
  • Paper inner sleeve
  • Catalogue number ILPS 9103
  • Matrix marks:- Side 1:  ILPS+9103+A
  •                        Side 2:  ILPS+9103+B


Condition

    The record is in good condition. There are some slight scratches, no signs of warping. The outer gatefold sleeve appears to be in overall good condition and the pop-up works an has no damage. However there is wear on the edges and a 3-inch tear in the spine and the base of the sleeve has come unglued in places. The inner sleeve has a couple of faint marks slight  but is otherwise clean and sound (see photos)
