RARE ORIGINAL U.S. VINYL!

A rare opportunity to bid for this original U.S. vinyl pressing of Stanley Cowells's 'New World' on the

Galaxy label! Bought second-hand from the now sadly-closed Beanos in Croydon, U.K., it has just been carefully

stored, unplayed, ever since!

Sleeve: Thick U.S. board with the front cover showing an image of the Statue of Liberty against a cloudy sky, with sunlight

filtering through. The artist's name is printed in black, top-left, with the album title, also in black, top-right. The catalogue number

is shown, bottom-right, in pale blue. The pale blue-green-grey back cover is pasted on, but falls short at the top and right-hand edges.

As a result, the misprinted/misaligned spine text can clearly be read down the right-hand side of the rear face! There is a small colour

portrait photo of Stanley Cowell in the centre, with track listing printed above and musician and album credits below. The label name is

in blue, bottom-right, with their address along the bottom edge. The sleeve is in fantastic condition for 33 years of age! It is intact, with

no tears, repairs, bumps or notations, and no appreciable wear to surface, edges or corners! Superb!

Inner Sleeve: Aside from what appears to be age-related discolouration, the slightly shaped, white paper

sleeve is intact and unmarked!

Matrix Numbers: Side 1 - GXY 5131 A -TH-I SI SXT B

Side 2 - GXY 5131 B -TH-I SI SXT B

Vinyl: Clean, shiny and appears unmarked in most conditions. However, when angled to the

light, a few light 'marks' can be seen. I have placed the word 'marks' in quotes because I'm

not sure if they are in the vinyl or on the surface. They certainly can't be felt with a fingertip.

In all other respects it looks great!

Labels: Both are intact and unmarked, apart from a small area of what looks like blistering on the

circumference of Side 1. Or it could also be caused by uneven vinyl beneath the label.
