TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

PAYMENT: Paypal is the only payment that I accept. Payment is requested within 24 hours of auction closing and must be received no later than three days from auction closing or item will be relisted and bidder will be reported; no exceptions. I can not promise same-day shipping although if your payment is received in a timely manner it may well ship same-day.

MULTIPLE PURCHASES: I love ‘em.  Less packing for me and shipping savings for you. WAIT UNTIL YOU RECEIVE MY INVOICE before sending any payment for multiple purchases.

RETURN POLICY: I strive to give extremely detailed descriptions of each record and therefore consider all sales final with records sold as-is; however, if you have any legitimate issues, PLEASE contact me before leaving feedback and I will try to address your problem fairly. I am out to gain return customers, not disgruntled buyers. I cannot accept unconditional returns due to the ease with which digital transfers can be made from these vintage records, after which they are returned for imaginary “flaws.”  This is an unfortunate fact that has become a problem for vintage record sellers in recent years.

SHIPPING AND HANDLING:

MEDIA MAIL rate (including delivery confirmation and handling fee) for one LP record is $4.00; one 45 is $3.40. I will advise you as to costs of multiple purchases. Do not send payment until you receive my invoice for multiple purchases.

PRIORITY MAIL rate will depend upon your location (see shipping calculator). Please use the calculator only to get an idea of your final shipping costs and wait for my invoice before sending payment. I will invoice within 24 hours of auction closing.

INTERNATIONAL parcels will be sent via Priority Mail International only. This is to permit delivery witin a reasonable time frame and permit tracking on both sides of the ocean. Also note, for customs I will only declare actual value of your purchase, please do not ask me to do otherwise. 

INSURANCE: eBay rules prohibit me from making insurance an option on your invoice, therefore the cost of insurance should you request it will be included in my final handling fee when you receive my final invoice. I will insure at my expense if your purchase totals over $75. For informational purposes, USPS insurance is $1.80 for value up to $50, $2.30 for value between $50-$100.

GRADING SCALE: All grading is visual. I will try to note any discrepancies between visual grade and audio quality when possible. However, different styli will produce different results so visual grading has become the standard. I grade conservatively and have had zero complaints regarding my grading (see feedback). My EX grade would be listed as NM by many sellers.

E+: Near-mint, no visible or audible flaws; possibly unsold store stock; I use this grade very sparingly

EX: Excellent; any defects such as paper scuffs or small hairline scratches are mainly cosmetic with little or no effect on play; high gloss; generally my highest grade.

V++: Record still has most of its gloss; may have light surface scratches, paper scuffs, very light visible or audible needle wear; surface noise is negligible to most listeners and well below music level; still a collector-worthy record. Most vinyl records that I list will fall into the EX or V++ category.

VG+: Record may have any combination of light audible scratches, light scuffs and moderate needle wear; the “typical” used but not abused record; surface noise noticeable but does not overpower music level; acceptable to most collectors until the copy of your dreams comes along

VG: Above flaws are more pronounced and surface noise approaches music level; I will generally list VG records only if they are of high musical or historic value.

JACKETS: EX: No major flaws, clean, little to no cover wear, no seam splits, no writing; V++: very slight cover wear, minor seam splits or lamination creases, may have small writing on back cover; VG+: may have seam splits/repairs, typical cover wear for age, writing on front or back cover, but intact and presentable; VG: same flaws as VG+ but more pronounced; marginal
