Ahh 1977 41 years ago –just out of high school.....
Star Wars was a sleeper movie that went on to become the cultural phenomenon blockbuster hit of the year 1977.
Just as popular and just as responsible for its success was John Williams masterful score-indeed without it the movie would have been nowhere near as popular
Not since the Sound of Music had a music score had this impact
I saw the movie at least 40 times-bought two copies of this wonderful album –one to play and one to save-this is the saved one. It is still sealed in the original plastic and looks like I just bought it-pretty good for 41 years-stored in a dark closet
This one is pristine condition-I looked it over closely and the extreme tips of the right side have a VERY tiny bit of wear most likely where the record was put in its shelf-I say this as I want the condition to be correct
A wonderful cultural artifact
