GALA STRADIVARIUS CONCERT recorded highlights from the concert recorded at The Barbican Hall, 2nd December 1987 in aid of the Royal Academy of Music Appeal
These works were performed on rare original instruments by Stradivarius. Some belonged to the soloists, others were borrowed from private owners and musical institutions.
This rare UK original set comes up for sale quite infrequently and always commands a high price.
Excellent and highly sought after recordings played on original instruments featuring soloists (as above) with the English Chamber Orchestra conducted by SIR YEHUDI MENUHIN. Start label 1st UK pressing. 2lp gatefold set.

The sleeve is in near mint condition. The vinyl: Disc one is in near mint condition. Disc two has some groove marks on one side (which is strange as this came from a collection of unplayed records) which create some minor crackles and light tics in places.
