Description

Original UK stereo gatefold LP, release date 1970 on the B&C label, catalogue number: CAS1024 Matrix nos: side1) CAS1024A-1U side 2) CAS1024B-1U Condition of cover/record: MINT / NEAR MINT (Grading as used by Record Collector) The cover was printed and made by E J Day Group, London & Bedford. There are no creases, tears, rings, no splaying of the open edge, no writing, and just a manufacturer's sticker declaring the group name and album title. There is a very thin series of dots and dashes of wear in a thin broken line on the top and bottom edges, which amounts to less than ½ of the total length of the four edges (gatefold included). This cover is in NEAR PRISTINE CONDITION – hence the rating. The spine is in perfect condition, as is the print on it. The inner sleeve is white paper. The two labels: there are only 3 very light spindle marks on side 1 and none on side 2. The record plays to NEAR MINT QUALITY. There are just 2 faint clicks on ‘henry lane’ and one on ‘I wouldn’t have thought’ and apart from that no other clicks or pops. This record was cleaned and played before the auction to ensure accuracy of description. This item has no reserve on it, & is from my personal collection. Track list: I wouldn’t have thought, levinia, henry lane, walking down the road, mountains/ leader of the ring, riding on the L&N, hold that train.
