STEAMHAMMER "Reflection" rare orig UK CBS bluesPsych lp!
1969/UK/ CBS S 63611….here’s a clean original UK pressing of their rare first lp. The uni pack style gatefold cover is in solid VG++ condition, there is light minor corner wear, there are two main vertical creases that run the length of the cover on is located approx 1” from the spine edge and the other which is a bit more visible is located a further couple of inches in from the first one, there is another thumb crease bottom right, the creases show a bit of minor wear on the high spots but not really that bad, the creases are just on the front part of the gatefold, on the back of the cover there are four very very light horizontal waves/warps that created very light wear lines on the high spots, the cover has no splits, writing, or other issues, solid and clean. The vinyl is in shiny strong VG++ condition, there are some very very light sleeve scuffs/scratches mainly on side one. The record plays clean with a bit of minor noise between tracks, and otherwise plays clean with excellent fidelity! A nice original UK pressing for your collection! Please check my auctions for other rock and psych lp’s, good luck and thanks for looking!

Steamhammer (aka Reflection) was the debut album issued in 1969 by the British blues-rock band Steamhammer. The musicians in the band were Martin Quittenton (guitar), Kieran White (vocals, guitar, harmonica), Martin Pugh (guitar), Steve Davy (bass), and Michael Rushton (drums). The album included classic blues numbers by B.B. King ("You'll Never Know") and Eddie Boyd ("Twenty-four Hours"), as well as compositions by band members White, Quittenton, and Pugh. The session musicians Harold McNair (flute) and Pete Sears (piano) also played on the album.
