here’s an excerpt from Joynson’s
review from his psych / progressive reference
"Tapestry of Delights"
This band's album is now very rare and collectable.
In the heavy progressive genre with elements of folk and
ethnic music too, it got a German release on Bellaphon (BLPS 19105)
in 1972 but had to wait three more years for a UK airing, by which
time they'd split. The opening cut sounds Pink Floyd-influenced
and the musical format is encouraging with
some dramatic vocals and lots of improvised jazzy solos.
***FAQ ABOUT THIS LP***
How do you know it's not a counterfeit?
i have a copy of the commercially released Canadian LP
on the Penny Farthing label & have the advantage of a side-by-side
comparison ~ matrix numbers & stylization of numbers are identical ~
ALL jacket information is identical
This IS a Rare original Canadian pr0m0 copy ~ admittedly , i do
not believe the Canadian pressings are as rare as the UK ones
~ which Joynson rates as an R3
i also think that, for some inexplicable reason, Canadian promo
pressings are actually a bit easier to find than the
commercially released ones in the red Penny Farthing label
There you have it ~ everything i know, or,
'think i know' about this LP!
