STEEL PULSE
"B.B.C. College Concert #6: Week Of October 17, 1982"
(BBC London Wavelength, 1982)
--------------------------------------------------------
Rare live show and radio profile of Steel Pulse as captured by the BBC in 1982. The College Concert series was an early attempt by the Beeb to break into America's growing college rock scene, with a series of weekly radio programs hosted by DJ Pete Larkin and serviced to American radio stations on their subscription list. A rare promo-only disc in excellent condition - comes with a double-sided cue sheet, and in a plain white jacket (though I think originally these shipped with no jacket at all.)
The concert was recorded live in Santa Cruz, California and includes the following songs:
1. Uncle George; 2. Blues Dance Raid; 3. Soldiers; 4. Rally Round; 5. Riot; 6. Chant A Psalm; 7. A Who Responsible; 8. Sound System; 9. Ravers.
--------------------------------------------------------
From a private collection, nonsmoking household.
International shipping not available - offered to US bidders only.
