STEELY DAN AJA ORIGINAL UK 1977 ABC RECORDS VINYL LP + INNER A3 / B1  EX+  PEG, JOSIE RARE!


Vinyl EX+ condition - barely played - just a couple of very light non-audible scuffs   A3 / B1 matrices with "Allen" etched on S1

showing this is the UK 1st press variant 1


A really top pressing of this classic LP  - sounds superb - deep, rich heavy early press audio!


The thick card Gatefold cover is in VG+ condition with very light creasing and feint ringwear and very light discolouration inside commensurate with age 


The card lyric inner is in NM condition


Vinyl is housed in a generic  white inner sleeve Mint 


Notes: Aja (pronounced Asia) is the sixth studio album by Steely Dan. Released in 1977, the album peaked at number three on the US charts and number five in the UK. It was the band's first platinum album and ultimately became their best-selling studio release, eventually selling over 5 million copies. The album includes the hit songs "Deacon Blues", "Peg" and "Josie".

In 2010 the Library of Congress selected Aja for inclusion in the United States National Recording Registry based on its cultural, artistic or historical significance.

Due to a house move I am reluctantly downsizing my large collection of vinyl LPs - mostly bought at the time of release and have had minimal play as I taped them back in the day and listened mainly on cassettes. I always tried to buy the earliest pressings and made sure all the extras, inserts, booklets, limited edition covers etc were included.  

Stored upright in a dust and pet free environment they are now ready to move on to a new collection.
