Limited Edition issue from 2007 - the 30th Anniversary all Analog HQ-180 LP pressing -- STEELY DAN - Aja - 1977 / 2007 Cisco Music, Inc. USA - CLP-1006. This LP edition was mastered by Kevin Gray and Robert Pincus, two of the best mastering engineers in the business. Approximately 10,000 were pressed -- this one is # 7717 (see photo). Many consider Aja to be Steely Dan's (Walter Becker and Donald Fagen) masterpiece. Songs include, "Black Cow," "Aja," "Deacon Blues," "Peg," "Home At Last," "I Got the News" and "Josie." Vinyl is Near Mint ...played no more than three times ...this LP issue had pressing anomalies that were visible but mostly inaudible -- there are two surface marks on this LP (one on "Black Cow," and the other on "I Got the News"), both of which do not affect play (not audible). Actually, this is the second Aja LP I purchased from Cisco; the first copy I exchanged for this one. So, since this is an out-of-print title, in my opinion, it is better to purchase an open and played copy than a new/sealed one, as you will know if there are any audible issues in advance. Sonics on this copy are superb! Gatefold jacket/cover is also Near Mint ...very closely replicates the original ABC gatefold, with glossy finish, inner liner notes and lyric insert -- very nice! Includes original high quality protective inner sleeve. Enclosed in the original mylar outer sleeve from Cisco with promotional sticker and Cisco seal still 100% intact (see photos).
