Welcome to "Plays It By Ear" where not only a visual grading is considered but I also sample track the vinyl and base condition on a combination of both, relying on Goldmine Grading as an overall guide. Please take the time to read detailed descriptions, you may find a visually VG record that plays VG+! All genres are sold here, so visit weekly because who knows what the next shipment may bring. All used albums are package as follows: record removed and placed in generic sleeve, old inner sleeve returned to album jacket, album jacket is placed in vinyl sleeve, record and jacket are placed between two cardboard stiffeners then wrapped in cling wrap and taped shut, and finally placed in a true record mailer. Steely Dan, "Can't Buy A Thrill" Vinyl LP. (1974). ABC RECORDS ABCX-758 '74 REPRESS GATEFOLD. Vinyl is VG+, with minimal spindle wear, a couple of light paper scuffs that do not affect playability or surface noise. A clean quiet record with excellent fidelity. Gatefold jacket is VG+, with no defects to speak of. Original generic ABC inner sleeve with no seam splits and a few folds and wrinkles.
