Description
An original UK 1980 A1 B2 1st Press copy of Steely Dan - Gaucho released on the MCA label MCF 3090
Mastered by Bob Ludwig and lacquer cut by the great Bilbo, this is an absolute tour de force for sound quality. If you have a half decent system, this record will make it sing!
The record has been ultrasonically cleaned in our Degritter and the vinyl has come up sparkling clean & very shiny with a few faint marks and a larger visible scuff on Side 2 that plays through with no issues. Clean labels and spindle holes - graded VG+
The super sound quality on playback is incredible. Incredibly dynamic, dense, full throttle sound, deep low frequency, loads of detail - this is a masterclass of audiophile sound. Needless to say the vinyl plays through beautifully with no jumping or sticking. Occasional low background noise/crackle in a few places but nothing unusual for vinyl of this vintage.
The outer sleeve is clean and sturdy overall with light wear to edges and spine, age related corner rubbing and mild ringwear.
No writing, splits, stains, tears or tape.
The original printed inner lyric sleeve is present- we have popped the record into a fresh poly lined inner to keep it pristine after cleaning - you will receive both.
A great playable copy, fully cleaned & tested, ready to pop straight onto your turntable & play loud!
