Welcome to 'Its the vinyl countdown' music auctions. Here you will find some of the most incredible rare records and music memorabilia for your collection. We pride ourselves on auctioning only the highest grade records and items, you will not see anything listed here below EX+ condition, unles the item is extremely rare. You will not see worn covers, warped records or scratched records. We simply do not bother with them.
We list in many cases, 'Archived' & 'mint' condition items, we are able to source from private collections all over the UK. So we hope you can be put at ease that what you are bidding on is of the highest quality.
We play through most of the records, unless the item is clearly mint, or sealed..in which case we don't play them, thus maintaining their 'unplayed' status! Obviously with some of these rare items there will be the odd 'anomoly' along the way , the odd little static pop or lead in 'sizzle' for a split second.. nothing is perfect we find! all systems differ, but we aim to describe these as accurately as possible for you.... RARE TO FIND 'ABC RECORDS' 1st Press UK LP -Sold in the millions, but finding one in MINT or NEAR MINT condition is nigh on impossible..this is simply a time capsule copy.

THE VINYL STONE MINT INCREDIBLE CONDITION
Finding a copy in this condition is very very hard to do, this is the earliest A1 B1 1976 press, and it quite simply like new!!! ..totally pristinne with no signs of play!
This first pressing is a superb vinyl which has retained its amazing glossy sheen and finish. There is no dulling anywhere and overall it is in incredible condition for an LP of this age.
So put simply, there is no wear or damage at all-! Clearly this LP has been archived for many many years, from new- and it is as clean and new as you could ever wish to find. Just amazing.
OVERALL THIS IS SIMPLY A MUST FOR ANY FINAL UPGRADE COLLECTION. YOU WILL NOT SEE BETTER. EASILY THE BEST COPY WE HAVE SEEN.
THE LABELS MINT FLAT MATT LABELS
THE SLEEVE MINT- SUPERB ORIGINAL PRINT SLEEVE
Correct FLAT MATT first UK issued earliest sleevewith the silver ink lettering -...Its hard to find a good sleeve of this LP as so many have terrible white wear, and most we see are later glosier versions. This is the first earliest it is only not MINT due to a small little scuff on the actual spine edge near the bottom of around 1"..but it is not bad really.
Other than that this sleeve is stunning with no wear or powdery rub anywhere.
The edges are all super clean with no traces of rub, at all , and all colours and inks remain in outstanding condition
No powdery white ringwear or even ring press of any note, and all edges are super crisp.
The open edge remains in immaculate sharp condition with not a hint of handling -one tiny little spider crease near the bottom
THIS REALLY IS AS GOOD AS WE HAVE SEEN!
THE INNER SLEEVE MINT
Original thick card inner with cut corners and thumb groove..pretty much perfect with no damage at all- just some very light ring press at the bottom....no wear or discoloration- an incredible original inner..and also inaside was a nice press cutting from 1976 about the band..!
