Description
This is a very nice 1st pressing of Steely Dan's 1975 album "Katy Lied", another awesome album full of weird cool tunes. The cover of this is still in the SHRINK WRAP, though it has some tearing and a small price tag remnant front top right. It also had a couple of "stains" on the shrink, seen in the photos, that have since been cleaned. There is NO splitting, NO holes or saw marks, and NO cut corners. 1st press in an easy VG+ shape, with a very legible spine as well. The record itself is wrapped in the original inner (lyric) sleeve, and while it does have a couple of very light sleeve marks ("normal" for these hard paper inner sleeves), the vinyl itself is clean and shiny, good color, and in fine shape. I love this album almost as much as I love "The Royal Scam" as it full of some of their stranger lyrics, and includes these great tunes: "Black Friday", "Bad Sneakers", "Rose Darling", "Daddy Don't Live In New York City No More", "Dr Wu", "Everyone's Gone To The Movies (now we're alone at last", "Your Gold Teeth II", "Chain Lightning", "Any World (That I'm Welcome To", and "Throw Back The Little Ones". A really great album in really good shape, if you haven't heard it, you should, whether you buy it or not. We are using best healthy practices in all aspects of our store amidst all this craziness now, and we use NEW mailers, NEW inserts, New record sleeves and NEW clear plastic covers. We use official LP mailers with the record outside the cover, and in clean white sleeves separately from any photo inner sleeves. All vinyl is cleaned with an enzyme spray then finished with a SpinClean Machine. With sealed vinyl, please understand that we will only accept returns if the LP is still sealed, which is for our financial protection as well as yours.
