GRADAZIONE RIGOROSA - STRICTLY GRADED

Note : musiche composte da Stefano Torossi, direzione orchestrale di Robby Poitevin. Davvero una bella e interessante colonna sonora che perfettamente riflette sia l'aspetto esteriore che sostanziale del film. L'ambientazione esterna è in una Roma ancora "capellona" e le musiche hanno forte connotazione beat. E' il caso di " BEAT MEDIO ", dalla ritmica ben sostenuta dall'organo, di " LOVE " cantato con grinta da una vocalista in Inglese con un buon accompagnamento di basso, organo e batteria, di " MANGIADISCHI ", un micidiale shake molto percussivo, ricco di eccitanti improvvisazioni dell'Hammond e con suoni distorti quasi deliranti della tromba, di " ZODIACO " altro bel tema beat con il magnifico suono dell'Hammond in evidenza.  La vicenda umana narrata nel film ha risvolti di sofferenza interiore pur intervallati da momenti sereni. In linea di massima i brani che interpretano questi ultimi aspetti conservano una buona dose di ritmica vivace mentre le atmosfere si distinguono tra quelle a carattere cupo e malinconico e quelle con contenuti teneri e lieti. Tra i primi " MALESSERE " (traccia 2, lato A) caratterizzata dall'intensità musicale di pianoforte e organo, " FAMILY LIFE " (traccia 8, lato A) che esprime tutta la sua drammaticità nella violenza sonora di una tromba. Tra i secondi " MALESSERE " (traccia 1, lato B) dall'atmosfera distesa sulle note di un flauto e la presenza di una sezione d'archi, " LUCE SPENTA " uno slow con tipiche sonorità da night-club e piccole venature jazz, " UNA CERTA ETA' " (traccia 5, lato B) tema romantico e rilassante con archi e bei vocalizzi femminili.  16 brani.

Notes : music Stefano Torossi, orchestra Robby Poitevin. Undoubtedly a very good and interesting score which perfectly reflects the outward appearance and the inner side of the film plot.

The setting is in a yet hippie Rome and the tunes depicting this aspect are strongly rich of beat-sound. Among them : " BEAT MEDIO ", fast rhythm underlined by the organ, " LOVE " sung with determined temperament by a female vocalist in English with the excellent accompaniment of bass, organ and drums, " MANGIADISCHI ", a killer dance tune based on a heavy percussive tapestry, Hammond's exciting improvisations and distorted, almost raving sonorities by the trumpet, " ZODIACO ", another beat theme with Hammond in prominence.

The human vicissitudes narrated by the film alternate pain and distress to serene intervals.

The music depicting these sides keeps prevalently lively rhythmics with a feature divided between gloomy and relaxing themes. Among the first : " MALESSERE " (track 2, side A), characterized by the musical intensity of piano and organ, " FAMILY LIFE " (track 8, side A), a dramatic theme magnificently described by the violence of the trumpet.  Among the others : MALESSERE " (track 1, side B), sweet atmosphere based on blithe flute sounds and the presence of the string section, " LUCE SPENTA ", a refined slow  with typical night-club sonorities and a light jazz vein, " UNA CERTA ETA' " (track 5, side B), a relaxing and romantic theme underlined by excellent female wordless vocals with a string accompaniment.  16 tracks.
