GRADAZIONE RIGOROSA - STRICTLY GRADED

Copertine e vinili sono visualmente gradati dopo un’attenta osservazione sotto la luce del sole fatta sulla mia terrazza a tetto. Nelle giornate grigie vengono controllati sotto una forte lampada alogena con l’aiuto di una lente d’ingrandimento. Tutti i 33 giri in asta sono stati interamente ascoltati su un giradischi Rega Planar 3 fornito di una testina a magnete mobile Grado Statement 1. Per EP e singoli a 45 giri utilizzo un Thorens TD 166 BC con testina, sempre MM, Goldring 1006. Ritenendo che le abituali classificazioni quali Mint, Ex, Vg, ecc., ecc… siano poco significative per spiegare le reali condizioni dei dischi ed anche estremamente soggettive, precedo sempre tali classificazioni con una breve descrizione degli eventuali difetti che ho riscontrato, ad eccezione di Mint- che il più alto grado che conferisco a qualsiasi disco. Soltanto per le copie ancora sigillate all’origine utilizzo MINT/MINT.

Sleeves and vinyls are visually graded after a careful check in bright sunshine on my roof terrace. In the gray days I watch the records under a strong halogen lamp with the help of a magnifying glass. All LPs in auction have been fully heard on a Rega Planar 3 turntable with a Grado Statement 1 moving magnet cartridge. I listen EPs and singles 45 rpm. on a Thorens TD 166 BC turntable with a Goldring 1006 MM cartridge. Considering that the usual classifications such as Mint, EX, Vg, etc…, etc… are not significant to explain the real condition of the records in addition to a total subjectivity of opinion, I always introduce before these classifications a short description concerning any defects I have verified with the exception of Mint minus, the highest grade I declare. I use MINT/MINT exclusively for the still from factory sealed copies.

Note :  buone atmosfere suggestive e romantiche sottolineate da un'ottimo pianoforte e dall'orchestra ben diretta dallo stesso compositore. Fuori da questo schema "Inizia l'amore" (a2), una bossa delicata guidata dal flauto e "Luna Park" (b4) dal ritmo veloce fra musica dance e funk con tastiere in buona evidenza. Le tracce con il titolo Scena I, II, III, IV e V contengono alcuni dialoghi in Italiano fra Leonora Fani e Domiziano Arcangeli.

Notes : lovely romantic and suggestive atmospheres highlighted by an excellent piano and by the orchestra magnificently conducted by the composer himself. Out from this pattern "Inizia l'amore" (a2), a delicate bossa led by flute and "Luna Park" (b4)  from the fast pacing between dance music and funk with keyboards in the foreground. The tracks titled Scene I, II, III, IV and V contain some Italian dialogues between Leonora Fani and Domiziano Arcangeli.
