Description
Here's an extremely rare 12" sample record which was among the first straight-to-digital rock recordings, according to a 1979 article in Billboard (see pic #2 above). The record, which contains an updated version of "Cherokee," seems to have actually been a pressed as a promotion for the Record Plant's digital studio. The full-length track repeats four times on the record, twice on each side. Note that one side has a SMALL SCRATCH that is lightly audible for a few rotations.
