Here is a excellent rare UK PRINTED/PRESSED later issue of this superb and now legendary 1967 cult GARAGE/FOLK-PSYCH LP. This brilliant album very rarely gets offered for sale in any format.
Steppeulvene (Danish for 'The Steppenwolfs') was a Danish rock band which despite its short life has become the icon for the Danish hippie music scene. This is their only album and was the first rock album with original Danish lyrics, and has attained near-mythological status in the history of Danish rock.
The group was the result of a collaboration between lead singer Eik Skaløe, who had traveled in the Orient in the early 1960's and wrote the Bob Dylan-inspired, highly symbolic and almost surreal lyrics, and Stig Møller (guitar, vocal), who wrote the drawling, psychedelic, folk-influenced music. The other members were Søren Seirup (bass) and Preben Devantier (drums). The name of the group was taken from the novel Steppenwolf by Hermann Hesse.

VINYL = EXCELLENT++
The vinyl looks superb and plays and sounds as new throughout both sides apart from just 2 light ticks right at the start of the last track on side 2.
Both sides of the vinyl are in EX++/NEAR MINT very clean and glossy condition and look very near brand new, there are no bad surface marks at all and the sound quality is really excellent and clear from beginning to end, the album plays free of annoying surface noise and even between tracks there is bearly any light crackle, a superb very clean playing copy of this legendary danish Garage/Folk-Psych LP.
Both METRONOME labels are in as new clean condition, the labels state that the album was pressed in the UK.
SINGLE SLEEVE = EX+
The single card sleeve states that it was printed in the UK by PRESS & POST LTD. there is some minor creasing and some edge/storage wear otherwise it's in excellent+ condition and looks superb.
