Records-EX A very nice example that has been well preserved. It has retained a deep glossy shine throughout both sides, with only a couple of areas of very light short hairlines and inconsequential, wispy, inner sleeve marks in places. There are some light spindle marks both sides, but the record has clearly been well handled and cared for in the correct manner. A very nice example of this highly sought after recording.
I have listened to both sides of this record and it played incredibly well, there was some underlying light background noise in quieter sections but this was only really noticed when played at very high volumes as I would expect most records to do. The audio clarity was superb and fantastically crisp. Some very light and occasional light surface noise in places with an occasional pop, but generally the audio graded at EX/EX+. Considering that this record was produced over 50 years ago it really has survived well. I suspect that a pro clean would certainly increase the audio.
Sleeve-EX The sleeve is one of the early thin gauge front and back laminated sleeves with flip backs top and bottom.
This sleeve is very clean throughout and presents very well indeed. There is some very mild edge and corner wear, with some light corner grazing and there is some very light, minimal handling creases (due to the thin gauge card sleeve). The reverse of the sleeve is very clean with only the slightest of light wear and marks, with a small 3mm closed tear that can barely be noticed. There are some other very light marks but nothing heavy or distracting. A solid sleeves that presents very well, hard to fault really considering its age. This type of sleeve very rarely preserves well but this example has clearly been very well cared for and stored .
