10 long playing records from the RCA VICTOR(LSC-9300) Living Stereo series.These are all shaded dog issues.Included in the set is LSC-2233, Charles Munch conducting the Boston Symphony Orchestra, Beethoven Symphony No.3, in E-Flat, Op.55("Eroica"). Condition of sleeve is VG,as vinyl is VG+; stamper No.s are 4/1. From this point I will indicate catalogue numbers(all begin with the prefix LSC), condition of sleeve, condition of vinyl and stamper numbers: 1901/VG+/VG+/11/11; 2214/VG+/VG+/6/3; 2100/VG+/G/9/12; 2195/VG+/NM/13/10; 1903/VG+/NM/1(!)/1(!!); 2234/VG+/NM/9/1; 2201/VG+/NM/20/23; 1984/VG+/VG/6/3; 2150/VG+/VG+/19/10.I will describe the general overall condition of the booklet as VG/VG+. >>~< I play all records as well as give them a visual grade.My trusted transcriber a Music Hall mmf-5 with stock(1042) Goldring phono cartridge,the styli is replaced regularly(about once a year).( For 78 rpm recording I use a Garrard Synchro-Lab 95 3-speed record player employing a SURE SC35C cartridge w/a SURE N78S replacement styli.)<><><><><><><>Standard for grading the condition of vinyl records:SS Still Sealed Never opened. Flawless, with no damage whatsoever. NM Near Mint Has been opened, but is still flawless with no damage whatsoever. VG+ Very Good Plus May have scuff marks and signs of some wear but will still play almost perfectly throughout, with only "barely detectable" crackles or pops. A slight noise at the begining is allowable, but the remainder must be nearly flawless. Definitely no scratches or gouges that a touch with a dry finger can feel. Cover: May only have the slightest signs of normal wear. VG Very Good The majority of saleable albums fall under this grade. May crackle, pop or make other annoying noises, but only occasionally,never continuously, and not more loudly than the music being listened to Cover: Normal used cover wear such as ring wear and split seams. If there is abnormal damage such as tears or markings, but the seller still feels that it qualifies as a "VG", the damage must be described in comments attached to the item. G Good May have continuous low level crackles, pops, etc... but not so loud as to make the music completely unlistenable or unenjoyable to the casual listener. Might also have "nasty little scratch" causing popping on one or two more songs, with the rest of record playing fine. Cover: More than normal wear and tear. F Fair Only one side playable P Poor i.e. Only one or two songs on the whole album are playable.
