THIS is part of a collection of promo vinyl that I'll be listing over the next few months. It comes from a prominent 1990s NME journalist.
THIS IS A SUPERB STEREOLAB VINYL RARITY. It is the 10" white label test pressing of the second Stereolab release, the Super-Electric 45 EP, manufactured in 1991 for Too Pure. The plain white paper (12") cover and both the A & B white labels are hand written by the band. On the sleeve is written the band name, EP title, and release date. Also, curiously, 'a one off on Too Pure records'. Stereolab went on to have several releases on the label including their debut full length album, but this shows that it was not the band's intention at the time.
THIS RARE ITEM HAS ONLY BEEN OFFERED FOR SALE ONCE ON DISCOGS, FIVE & A HALF YEARS AGO, SO THIS MAY WELL BE YOUR ONLY REALISTIC CHANCE OF EVER OWNING ONE.

A NOTE ABOUT PROMO VINYL ITEMS: They were produced in small quantities by record companies in advance of release date for music business people like record company staff, journalists etc. They were each from a one-off copy run for the record label and were never on sale to the public.
Everything I list is on a similar coloured background so that you know they are my own photos.
I am the first and only owner of everything I list unless stated otherwise.
PACKAGING: Your item will be sent mailing envelope designed for 12" records with an additional cardboard stiffener.
