A brilliant NEAR MINT condition original UK 1st pressing of this superb mega-rare 1968 Mod/Freakbeat 45. This excellent original Fontana 45 is far rarer than the book price would suggest, there are none documented at 'Popsike' and i have only ever seen just one other copy for sale in recent times.
This copy on offer here is in really superb very clean and ultra-glossy MINT- condition and both sides play and sound as new throughout with no annoying surface noise, this very rare uk Mod/Freakbeat 45 really does look brand new and has only ever had just one or two very careful plays in 39 years. when spinning on the turntable there is a slight edge warp but this really is very minor and does absolutely nothing at all to effect play as both tracks play perfect from start to finish. Both labels are as new apart from 2 X '29 MARCH 1968' date stamp on the label of side one. The 45 comes in it's original Fontana records company sleeve which is excellent apart from one small seem split.
If you collect original UK Mod, Freakbeat and psych 45's and the stranger and more obscure UK beat and pop-sike releases from the mid to late 1960's then this superb pristine condition extremely rare UK Steve Davis Mod/Freakbeat 45 would make a brilliant addition to any collection.
This super-rare UK Mod/Freakbeat 45 really does not surface for sale very often at all and it will surely be quite some time before another gets offered in such immaculate clean playing condition as this again.
