Description

Steve Earle's third LP and his follow up to his ground breaking "Guitar Town" which more or less defined what would become known as Alt-Country.   Rolling Stone called Earle's blend of Rock, Celtic, Bluegrass  "Power Twang".  Many of these songs have continued to be concert staples for Earle.
Players on the record include The Pogues, Maria McKee (Lone Justice) and Garry Tallent (Bruce Springsteen) as well as a group comprised of Sam Bush, Edgar Meyer, Jerry Douglas and Mark O'Connor.
