Description
For auction is STEVE KUHN's "The October Suite," on Impulse A-9136 MONO, 1967. Composed and conducted by Gary McFarland. Gatefold, Promo Labels.
SOUND: VG+ or better
It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. The sound is excellent, just great! The only flaw of any note are a few soft, random ticks on side 2. Absolutely nothing that detracts.
VINYL: VG+
Visually, the vinyl is very nice. Few signs of wear other than a few small, light scuffs on side 2. The record is on white Impulse! promo labels. The "Bell Sound" stamp in script is in both sides' dead wax.
COVER: VG+ or better
The gatefold cover is very nice. All spines/edges are solid with little sign of wear. The corners are fairly sharp looking, with a tiny bit of fraying. Front and back are clean, shiny, and unmarked. Inside gatefold is clean, fairly white, unmarked, with only routine aging spots. The gatefold spine is still stiff, it still doesn't lay flat!

Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction.
