Description

Rare original gatefold release on the Japanese Victor label from 1971. Incredible studio 4tet session led by Steve Lacy and Mal Waldron with bassist Kent Carter and drummer Noel McGhie. Produced by Saba/MPS guru Joachim E Berendt in Paris. Side A features compositions by Waldron; side B features compositions by Lacy. Great record and one of my personal all time favorites. Cover is EX with some age spots on inner gatefold and spine..former owner wrote some discreet notes on inner gatefold as well. Vinyl is NM and plays great. Has insert. Fans of Incus, FMP, Japo, Blue Note, ECM, etc take note.
