Description
Steve Mann: Straight Life. Custom Fidelity, 1967. Cover has heavy wear, 7" split on bottom, and chipping on the top seam; no markings. LP is pretty scratched, and plays P (see below for grading); the noises aren't loud, but it has a lot of crackle. I don't normally sell a record in this shape, but this one is really rare - the last one went for 500 GPB. LP has been lovingly cleaned and placed in a brand-new poly sleeve.
Excellent accoustic blues album. Steve Mann had played with an early incarnation of the Mothers of Invention. He was the guitarist who played with Frank Zappa prior to the Mothers. Acoustic finger-picker who was on the L.A. club scene in the mid-60's playing old blues and ballads. He made his sole LP with the help of Taj Mahal, John Horton, and Dick Rosmini. Ry Cooder appears uncredited as well. After that album, Steve went through several mental institutes in the 70's/80's. Although he did appear on a compilation LP, with Jo-Ann Kelly and John Fahey on the "Blue Goose" label.

Grading scale
NM (Near Mint): Unsealed, but looks unplayed. I tested it and heard not a noise. No scratches or scuffs.
EX (Excellent): May have a light scuff or hairline, but I heard at most a light puff of noise or two.
VG (Very Good): A few light scuffs or a light scratch. I heard a few light noises, but nothing constant.
G (Good): Has some scuffs or scratches. Has some light-to-mild noises, but nothing constant.
P (Poor): Heavy scuffs and scratches. Has a lot of noise.
C (Craptastic): More noise than music, and it skips. I've only sold one record like this--an extremely rare one.

Unless sealed, all individual records are shipped with the record outside the cover to avoid damage. I've been selling and shipping records for years and have never had trouble with packing.
