THE STEVE MILLER BAND - SAILOR - UK Capitol ST2984 1968 Lp Original Rainbow, colourband first pressing
DISC - A real nice keeper copy of this great album, very hard to find as a UK first issue The disc is visually in Vg++ with just a few light dust type abrasions, it plays EX throughout.
SLEEVE - The Uk style laminated 'Garrod and Lofthouse flip over constructed single sleeve is also conservatively graded at VG+ if not better The Sleeve has a small EMI Factory sample of the rear . The Front laminated face is in great shape, a very clean full sheen to the lamination, the disc has obviously been in a plastic sleeve and well cared for. There are no nasty creases, the only slight blemish are 5 or 6 light 10 -20 mm crows feet type lines up the spine.
The spine is 100 readable ,the top of the spine has a little creased are and a tiny 2mm split. (See photo ) .The rear sleeve is also in a very presentable clean condition. The bottom right hand corner has just the beginnings of a crinkle in the flip over laminate with a small stain showing, but all very light.
Overall this is a very nice sleeve, No ring wear/ No writing / Must grade as VG++

GRADING: All of our records are graded using the standard UK Record Collector Grading system as follows:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as sealed or un-played should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges,
spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
