STEVE & THE BOARD - STEVE & THE BOARD EP - Spin EX 11,134.
On offer is a very hard to find 7” EP by the Australian band, STEVE & THE BOARD released in 1966. The band was led by Steve Kipner who would later find fame as a member of Tin Tin.
The EP contains the hit GIGGLE EYED GOO written by Steve’s father, Nat. There are two originals by the band’s guitarist, Carl Keats - MARGOT / ROSEMARIE and a cover of ROSALYN by THE PRETTY THINGS.
For Bee Gees fans - the bands drummer in 1965 and 1966 was one Colin Peterson. He was replaced in 1966 by one Geoff Bridgeford.
The record is in VG condition. Some small scratches and some scuffs. Nothing deep. The record plays a strong VG+. Very clean labels. The cover is in VG++ condition. The odd age spot and a couple of spots of fading near the top edge (front and back). There price has been written in a couple of spots on the back by the shop it came from. A couple of small corner dings.
A very sound copy of a hard to find item.
