On offer here is an EXTREMELY RARE original issue of the first album by Melbourne-based musician, STEVE WARNER. Musically we’re talking ACID FOLK PSYCH with effects, trippy fragile vocals/lyrics, synths, flutes, glockenspiel, acoustic & electric guitars, mandolin. The recordings have an otherworldly quality (Syd Barrett comes to mind) – also superb cover artwork (from a silk-screen printed design). All songs composed and all instruments played by STEVE WARNER. VG++ great appearance overall, minor handling wear with light ring-wear/rubbing (top & bottom, also inner rim on back only), creasing (mainly along spine), scuffing along seams (top & bottom, very minor along spine).
Record:
VG++ visual: clean overall, some hairlines & light surface scuffs only (side 1: VG++, side 2: VG+); audible: some underlying surface noise (more noticeable during the quieter passages) (VG+) – partly due to a pressing issue, manufactured by EMI Custom (YPRX 1585). GOOD LUCK TRYING TO FIND ANOTHER COPY! ; labels: HARDLY ANY SPINDLE WEAR (side 1) & light spindle wear (side 2).
