STEVEN HALPERN Christening For Listening
Here is a unique opportunity to get BOTH versions of this rare LP. You are bidding on TWO (2) LP’s by Steven Halpern both with the same title (although slightly different musically). One is the new-age version and the other is the funkier jazzier version with the drums. If you are not familiar with this LP, please do some research first.
The new-age version (noted on the back cover as SPR 7) is a STRONG VG++ possibly NM. Vinyl looks unplayed. Cover is pristine still in original shrink wrap. Bottom left corner has a very small corner crunch. THIS LP IS THE ONE IN THE FIRST 3 PHOTOS.
The Jazzier version (noted on the back cover as MAP 2003) is about VG/VG. Vinyl condition ranges from some light surface scuffs that do not really effect play to some heavier scratches and pock marks that cause “pops” and “clicks” in places. There are no skips on the (most desired) drum track but a few noticeable pops and clicks at times. The cover has light ring wear and edge wear and a 2” seam split at the top edge. THIS LP AND CONDITION ARE SHOWN IN THE LAST 5 PHOTOS.
I’m selling both of these LP’s together as a package deal. I have seen the new-age version sell as high as $80 and the jazzier version sell as high as $300+
